Gait Analysis and the Functional Anatomy of the Legs and Feet

This class is designed for massage and movement therapists. It will include learning the functional anatomy of the legs and feet and the  principles of gait analysis. The class will include observation and evaluation of each student’s walking pattern, movement awareness exercises, and simple hands-on work to optimize the coordination of the legs, pelvis, and torso.

Functional and Structural Anatomy of the Spine and Ribs

This class will focus on understanding in detail the functional anatomy of the spine and ribs. Students will learn specific techniques to resolve common issues in the ribcage and the thoracic and lumbar spine. We will also explore how these structures relate to the pelvis and shoulder girdle.
